Event was organised by FEMYSO in partnership with the European Parliament Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup (ARDI), European Forum Of Muslim Women – EFOMW and CCIB – Collectif Contre l’Islamophobie en Belgique
It was an opportunity for institutions and Civil Society organisations to share their messages of solidarity with Muslims all over Europe .
EFOMW’s Chair Dorsaf Ben Dhiab, and EFOMW’s Operations and Policy Manager Dr. Sanja Bilic in their Eid messages shared some of experiences and challenges Muslim women face during COVID19 lockdowns, but they also reminded of all great work that Muslim communities and more specifically Muslim women do across Europe, to support the wider community in overcoming hardships caused by COVID pandemic.
They expressed the hope that these and many other examples, within and beyond EU, will be a positive reminder that we need to work together and contribute to a better future for all.
